I found Carmela by randomly googling callligrahers in NJ. I was hesitant at first to mail a stranger my envelopes. She did about 90 envelopes for me in about 2 weeks. She was great to work with and did an AMAZING job. I already referred her to 2 other people. She is also VERY affordable when you compare her prices to other calligraphers. Her work is overall stunning!!

Brides- this is the BEST, and likely least, money you will spend on your entire wedding. Carmela's work is simply gorgeous. We received emails, phone calls, texts from our guests telling us how beautifully addressed our invitations were. We had a shimmery brown envelope and Carmela used a gold calligraphy pen, and the results were breath-taking. Carmela is easy-going and kind. Not huge with communication or asking questions about any of the addressee's info- she will address your invites EXACTLY as you have the addresses printed. For example if you have "St.", she will write that instead of "Street" so be sure the info you give to her is 100% the way you want it to look on the invite. Make sure to reserve her far in advance as she books up quickly. Her prices are extremely reasonable and the work is so beautiful. You will not be disappointed!

Carmela was recommended to us by a friend for wedding invitation calligraphy. I had emailed her but never heard back. We decided to use a calligrapher a few weeks before invitations needed to be in the mail. I have heard that you need to book with Carmela months and months before your invitation mailing date. However, I was hoping for a miracle. I picked up the phone and called Carmela and she was able to squeeze me in for July. Her work is phenomenal and she has a book for your selection of calligraphy style. It was $1.00 per invitation which includes assembly of the invitation. Our order was finished on the day promised. I highly recommend Carmela but book early!!
