Based in Mentor, Ohio, Cybele’s Alterations is a wedding dress and formalwear alteration business. Owner Cybele has worked in this industry for 39 years, and learned her dressmaking skills from her grandmother in Venezuela. She earned a degree in pattern making, design, and millinery lace making at Escuela International de la Moda before moving to Ohio. This experienced seamstress is passionate about helping her customers have the dress they’ve dreamed about.

Cybele’s Alterations is happy to amend an existing gown or create a one-of-a-kind custom dress from scratch. Both the wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses can be altered to better suit the party. Cybele is able to work with all manner of fabrics and laces to make your dress your own. She also offers wedding gown steaming, cleaning, and preservation.
