Daniel Stocker has always been fascinated by images. In 1999 his passion for filmmaking led him to write and direct his first short film, The Afternoon, under his own independent film company ToutatisPictures. The Afternoon was shot completely on 16mm film stock and edited by hand with a splicer and a roll of tape! The completed film was screened twice at the Portobello Film Festival and the 1st London Filmmakers' Convention.

After several years working in digital media and acting as Director of Photography on numerous DV films, Daniel decided to focus his passion on still images. Daniel Stocker Photography was born from this in 2009.

His preferred unobtrusive, reportage style of photography is much sought after by family and friends for events and photo shoots. Using high quality equipment and always searching to push the technology as far as it can go, Daniel has built up a reputation of excellent service and superior standards as well as bringing out the best in his subjects.

He loves to keep himself interested in the art of photography and has many personal projects of his own that he continues to capture, uploaded samples of all his work can be found on his website or blog just to keep people reassured that he is still working on my craft and that he still has that hunger to create that perfect image.

Based in Buckinghamshire in the UK, Daniel is available for any and all photographic assignments anywhere in the UK or beyond; including portraits, events, commissions, editorials, weddings and is willing to discuss all requests and requirements of your shoot prior to implementation.
