Annie was my most trusted counsel during wedding planning. I started the venue search on my own, and had asked catering managers who the best planner was. Several said Annie designed the most beautiful weddings. I met with a few planners, and they were okay - they could get the job done, but there was no...spark.

Annie was the last planner I met. She asked me just a few questions, then started giving me these amazing ideas. It was as if she had known me for years. I remember going home that night and saying to my then fiance, "I met this woman today. She gets me". My fiance, David was happy to know I found a wedding buddy.

I do research for a living, so when it came to picking wedding vendors, I naturally wanted to do a lot of research. David and I have time-consuming jobs, so it was difficult to meet a lot of vendors and do much digging around. Since Annie has worked with practically every vendor, she became our screen. We trusted her judgment and knew she had our best interests in mind. We ended up finding our wedding, rehearsal, and brunch venue, photographer, florist, music, hair and makeup, invitations, and decorations through Annie.

The month of the wedding, Sarah from the DOD team worked tirelessly with our vendors to get the timing, payments, and wish lists just right. Annie really knows people, and she has surrounded herself with an excellent team.

I am still getting emails on how beautiful and flawless the day of the wedding was. Many said it was the best wedding they have been to. I knew I was in capable hands, was not stressed, and was really able to enjoy our wedding day. Holly, Jennifer, and Annie just worked it.

As I sit here writing reviews, I know Annie was my best pick.

The most important vendor we found was our wedding planner Annie Lee of Daughter of Design. As my mother said "if she had to decide between florists and a hiring a wedding planner she would choose the wedding planner". Annie Lee was very professional and we were very happy on how well she organized our wedding and details prior to the wedding. Her team were all very qualified and dedicated in insuring everything was running smoothly during our wedding.
The day of my wedding I was very relaxed and everyone couldn't believe it. The reason being I knew everything was going to be taken care and I didn't have to worry on any of the details as Annie would take care of it.

Annie Lee is the epitome of class. I am so LUCKY that I chose Daughter of Design to plan my wedding. From the moment we met up with Annie and Sarah, we knew we were in the perfect hands to carry out our wedding vision, and we were right. Our wedding weekend was absolute perfection, and that has everything to do with the services and integrity of Daughter of Design.

Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Annie and Sarah steered us in the right direction and helped all our wedding dreams come to life. We ended up working with some of the most talented vendors NYC has to offer. It was Annie who steered us toward the Parker Méridien as our venue, which we would never have though of using. We had never been there before, and it just blew us away. Our guests were simply enthralled with the whole event, down to every microscopic detail. The ladies at Daughter of Design instantly became my best "wedding" friends, giving me their invaluable advice at every turn, and keeping my mind at ease. The only tasks I had all weekend were to look pretty and have the TIME OF MY LIFE! (which I did).

The wedding weekend itself went off without a hitch. There was not one detail that Daughter of Design didn't have locked down. In fact, just having them there really gave my wedding a polished, classy vibe. People could tell that I didn't skimp on anything if I had this wedding SWAT team standing by with their earpieces, attending to anything anyone needed. I truly felt like a princess all weekend. I can't begin to express how grateful I am for their services, professionalism, and ultimately their friendship. I can't let go! They are just too fabulous. Hiring Daughter of Design was the single wisest decision I made for our wedding. I simply can't put to words everything they did to make the best day of my life PERFECTION in every sense of the word. I have no idea what the "wedding jitters" are thanks to them. I didn't get nervous for even a millisecond. Everything was handled, and with the utmost grace I might add. These women are absolutely phenomenal at what they do!
