I was introduced to photography as a little girl, modeling all the time for my dad and helping him in his darkroom. I’ve always loved to take pictures, but for a long time it was more important to me to have a small camera with me all the time so I could capture memories than to take artistic shots. I also didn’t have much faith in my ability. Then my cousin Danielle asked me to take pictures at the annual Buddy Walk this fall and I got to use her D-SLR. It was love at first shutter release. A few weeks later I bought my own D-SLR and have been shooting ever since.
