My (then) fiancé and I met with DJ JayMaster and he really helped us to get excited for the wedding. It was like chatting with a friend, honestly. He started off by asking how we met and how we got engaged, jotting down notes, genuinely interested.
He gave song suggestions and really helped to flesh out the reception, which up until that point, didn't have anything planned for it. By the end of the first meeting, we had a rough timeline, knew how the bridal party, parents, and ourselves would be introduced into the hall, and my fiancé and I felt confident. We booked him that very evening, even as he was humbly saying that if we wanted to hire him that we could have another meeting in the future.
When my fiancé and I hired him initially, he was only going to be doing the music for the reception. After DJ JayMaster brought up some great points, we realized that we would need a speaker for the ceremony. (My fiancé and I were having the ceremony at Honeymoon Island, right on the beach.) We have absolutely no regrets about this. I would've missed my cue and all of my bridesmaids would have missed theirs if not for DJ JayMaster, who even looked to make sure the bridesmaids and I were ready before playing "the" music. He also went above and beyond by looping an instrumental track for us, turning it from 52s to 3:20 seamlessly. On top of all of that, it rained before, after, and during the ceremony and not once were we scared he was going to bail. He stood in the rain the entire time, umbrella in hand.
DJ JayMaster was very in tune with the guests at the reception. Our guests weren't inclined to dance, but he kept the energy going and by the end of the event, everyone was on their feet. He also communicated frequently with us, making sure the timing of things worked, and also making sure that we didn't need anything.
Overall, DJ JayMaster is incredibly awesome. He is a sweetheart who goes above and beyond to make sure that your day is just how you want it.
