My wife and I could not be any happier with Doc Scantlin and his Imperial Palms Orchestra. They really helped make our wedding day something to remember. The band was able to work up arrangements of two "new" songs which we requested that are not normally in their reportoire, and their performance was outstanding. Chou Chou Scantlin (who sings, and hand makes the beautiful costumes and decor for the stage) is a pleasure to work with both via phone and e-mail as I coordinated the business details all through her. We have recieved many compliments from our friends asking where we found such an incredible band, and feel lucky to have found them, indeed. The band makes fairly regular appearances at the Carlyle Club in Alexandria, VA, so if you are thinking about booking them, I would reccommend that you go see them them and see how great they are, and if they are the kind of thing you are looking for for your wedding. They were definitely the right thing for ours. Lastly, I wanted to mention that they have a great piano player named Don Resnik who was willing to play during the ceremony for a small additional charge. He also helped us with beautiful arrangements of songs that were very special to us. Great, great show!

If we could give them a HIGHER RATING we would! They absolutely blew us all away with their incredible energy, talent, and performance. However, they were also wonderfully responsive to our wishes (performing certain songs) while being professional in dealing with the business aspect of returning phone calls/e-mails/contract. Our Guests said it was the BEST WEDDING RECEPTION they had EVER attended! What more could you ask?
