Where do I begin with Jen-- she is simply the best! I had the pleasure of working with her for our April 2015 wedding in Charlottesville, and from the moment we talked via phone 9 months prior I knew she would be perfect. We live in Philadelphia and Jen was very flexible about scheduling my trial when we were in town on a Saturday afternoon and then was equally flexible when I called her a week before the wedding wondering if we could do another session in case I wanted my hair down. As someone who has never loved updo's or salon styled hair I was nervous about my wedding day hair and wanted it to be perfect and Jen was exactly the partner I needed! She came to our hotel the Wednesday before the wedding and spent 2 hours with my mom and I making sure we were 100% comfortable. Each one of her options were gorgeous but she never pushed anything on me and listened intently to what I liked and didn't like. The morning of the wedding was a joy with her and her team -- they were relaxed, fun and all of my bridesmaid's hair and makeup look absolutely stunning. When it came time to do my hair she told me she incorporated everything I had said I wanted and my hair and makeup looked flawless! She even stayed longer and helped me put my veil in to make sure it was perfect. Jen is so sweet, professional, and most importantly amazing at what she does. I am planning on recommending her to any other friends who get married in Charlottesville!

I can't say enough great things about Studio Elan! Jen provided her hair and makeup services for my bridesmaids, mother, and me at my recent wedding. I knew as soon as I met her that she would be the perfect fit - she was so warm and friendly, and even invited me into her home for my trial run. She listened to all of the ideas I had and looked at pictures with me, and totally got the look that I was hoping for. On the day of, Jen and her associate arrived at our venue early to get set up, and got right to work as soon as the girls were ready. My mom and all of my bridesmaids looked beautiful and natural, everyone was happy! When it was my turn, Jen worked her magic with great efficiency - I never felt rushed and was ready with plenty of time to sip some champagne before changing into my dress. She even snapped some 'getting ready' pictures for us! I loved working with Jen and would absolutely recommend her - I just wish she could do my hair and makeup every day!

Jenn is a real artist and can take on any challenge you throw her. I have acne prone, oily skin, and on my big day, she made me look flawless. And not to mention it looked natural and beautiful and didn't feel like 10 layers were on my face. My hair was perfect, staid in place through lots of dancing, and she was truly fun and a pleasure to work with.

She also did my grandmother and my mother's hair and makeup, and everyone commented on how amazing they all looked. Her versatility is pretty unique, and I have to say having her on site at the wedding venue was the best deal- it made the whole preparation experience very relaxing.
