Ray Bicolli has made his career in the special events industry since 2010 and has crafted a unique sound that distinguishes Elegance String Quartet among others. Raised in a family of musicians, he earned his Master’s in cello performance and soon after founded the ensemble that would become ESQ. What began as a hobby of arranging modern songs for classical instruments became the quartet’s trademark. Their unique style and sound have earned them a reputation as one of the most sought-after ensembles in the tri-state area and beyond: recent engagements include special commissions for Comic Con, Musikfest in Bethlehem, and an invitation to perform at Google’s Headquarters in Silicon Valley, CA. Ray’s ingenuity lead him to develop JukeTune, a digital jukebox app that allows event guests to engage with the band by making requests. Ray’s relationship with his clients, commitment to excellence, and innovative approach has garnered rave reviews; his ability to foster a creative and enjoyable work environment has allowed him to build a consistent roster of some of Philadelphia’s best musicians.

Jenny is the energizer of the group. When’s she’s not grooving on the viola, she’s fronting the band with her captivating vocals and stage presence. Behind the scenes she partners with Ray to produce our concerts and develop our signature style. As Event Manager, she will work tirelessly with you to select the perfect entertainment package for your big day and will get to know you throughout the planning process to make sure everything we do for you is personalized. She has performed with orchestras all over the country, as part of chamber ensembles and experimental bands, with major touring artists, and in collaboration with dancers, singer-songwriters, and visual artists. Her diverse background in entertainment and passion for music-making shines through, and she'll bring that same level of energy and excitement to your wedding day. If you've got a special song request for your first dance, Jenny will sing it -- and she may even break out her ukulele if you ask her to!

A fluent speaker of English, Russian, and Kazakh, Aisha Dossumova is a world-class musician, concert soloist, and violin professor. Her beautiful sound and flawless technique is the epitome of Elegance. There is no one better to perform our unique arrangements, which weave together pop, rock, and classical music in surprising ways (i.e. Mozart quotes in Havana!). As a performer, Aisha has traveled the world concertizing in the most prestigious stages and music festivals, headlining as a soloist with various orchestras, and recording for major labels.
