Working with Erin at first seemed great, but then it was a complete let-down. Three days after our wedding, she delivered some beautiful photos but there were complete chunks of our wedding that were unrepresented. I contacted her for more photos, and she didn't respond for three months until I finally started calling her and leaving messages on her voicemail. She then sent me an email saying there weren't any other good photos. Considering that chunks of our wedding were missing, that means she's either a liar or a very bad photographer. I told her that I was sure my standards were lower than hers and I would love to get even the unedited photos, because I felt desperate at this point. She said she had already deleted them all. I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was.

I was able to get the photos from the second shooter with the help of the videography company who had hired her, and unsurprisingly there were some great photos in there. I've since read other reviews and learned that this was not a unique experience.

The bottom line is, the photos she did deliver were very nice, but you're taking a big risk.

When i first looked into Erin everything was working out perfect!! I loved chatting with her, loved her work etc. met with her everything seemed great. She was young and just starting maybe that should have been a sign. But she seemed to know what she was doing and talked a BIG game. After i paid her things started to change. After my engagement photos things really started to change. I expressed my concerns and then came the defensiveness and everything went downhill. Thankfully i hired another photographer who saved my wedding. She literally destroyed it when it came to capturing the memories. I have 1 yes 1 good photo that i would hang on a wall. The rest are amateur!!! Before my wedding she told me i should eat my $1500 payment and find someone else since it didn’t seem to be working out. My expectations and wants i guess were too much. Let me tell you they were not. Not to get into too many details but she left early when she said she would stay till the end. Complained she had a tooth infection. She missed tons of photos. Stood around when she could have been taking pictures. You could see the attitude pouring out of her. she barely said anything acting like a photography in training. Baring taking any photos or telling me what to do to capture those breath taking moments. No photos of my husband getting ready. All of them were too dark. Too moody!! I like moody but she went to another level. You can’t even print them they are so orange and blah. She was not happy that i hired someone else and it showed but thankfully i did or i would be in even more tears than i already am. I had a huge wedding venue with endless picture opportunities. one people said was the best they had ever been too. People was less than 100. She assured me that was no probably and she would Be able to capture All the moments herself. And i only received a little over 600 photos oh and really only 300 because the other 300 were the same photo just in black and white. Disappointing was an understatement. So many moments missed or just a bad picture!!! No pictures of guests or the actually fun wedding part. So many special moments missed where if you were amazing with the location i picked there would have only been amazing photos.

I even asked for a redo. Just to get some of those amazing moments captured of me and my husband in my dress. But no she would not work with me at all. All she could say was wow i have never had anyone tell me they were unhappy with my work. She is a fake!!! She steals people’s money and destroyed their special day!!! My heart is broken that I can never have those moments recaptured and only have the memories!!! Erin is misleading and not a wedding photography. She is good with couples but anything more is more than she can handle. She needs experience she needs to be understand and she needs to work with her customers to capture their memories. She is unwilling to work with anyone or take any constructive criticism. I asked about certain types of photos and she only would do them for an additional charge. Told me she didn’t know how and after my wedding posts them of another couple knowing I wanted this with my husband. A good photographer would have done what you asked. If you were going to charge more ok but put a watermark on it to show them you can and did do it. Then let them decide. The first photo of us with the truck is my favorite the 1 and only that I love. The others are all so dark you can’t even see the colors of my wedding. My colors were eggplant purple and fuchsia with greens as the accent. The one with my back, a good photographer would have come up and fixed my dress or at least edited it to make it flat. There are so many pictures with errors or just missing the art of photography. Simple fixes if she just would have told us what to do or where to stand. We didn’t even get a picture by the love sign.

All i can say is young and inexperienced!!! I’m just sad it was me that had to be the victim when photos was probably my most important request for the wedding. I don’t want anyone else to go through what i did.
