Andrés (Everyone Needs Sound) DJ’d for our @talktomeaboutcats fundraiser at Holland Tunnel Gallery in Newburgh, NY. He played a mix of funk, top 40, dance hits, edm, latin and hip hop as well as 70’s and 80’s hits.
From our initial meeting to the end of our event, Andrés was very professional to work with. He responded to any questions I had and touched base a few times before our event. He arrived on time and set up his sound system quickly.
There were around 150 guests of all ages and backgrounds at our event. Andrés was able to ‘read the room’ and changed his mix accordingly, going from background music during the height of conversations to very danceable tunes when the time was right.

Everyone LOVED his music and commented how good the sound was for the space. Not too soft, not too loud, it was just right and you could tell he was enjoying himself, not just ‘doing a job’.

His take down was just as smooth as his set up and thanked the hosts with sincerity. I would recommend @everyoneneedssound for any wedding, event or party.

Andres was so wonderful to work with. He was the most tech-savvy DJ we met with and this was such a stress-relief for the ceremony because one of my best friends played acoustic guitar for the processional and recessional. She was late in getting set up though so Andres had some tracks of acoustic guitar ready to play while guests arrived. He was also unobtrusive in getting the mic checks done for our officiant and my groom (I didn't even know they happened!). His DJ skills also kept our guests on the dance floor all night, which was exactly what I wanted!
