When my daughter said she wanted to get married in Key West, I thought I could handle the planning. We are from Ohio but visit Key West quite often and are very familiar with the town, lodging, etc. When I received my first contract (from Ft. Zachary Taylor), I quickly realized I needed help. After talking to 2 other planners and my first conversation with Bernadette, I knew she would be a great fit for us. Not only did she recommend all of our vendors (which were all wonderful to work with - 5 stars all around), she also was essential in the flower/decor design. My husband and I cannot say enough positive things about Family Affair and their help with our wedding day. When you plan a wedding in Key west in February you don’t anticipate rain showers. Bernadette handled all of the booking of last minute accommodations for tents/etc. to prepare for the rain at our outdoor venue which took all of the stress off of my husband and I so we could enjoy our time in Key West. On the day of the wedding everyone at Family Affair went above and beyond to perfectly bring my vision to life and make sure everything ran smoothly despite the weather.
