Fern Hill Weddings at C. Barton McCann School of Art is a unique venue for weddings and special events in Central Pennsylvania. Located just 13 miles from State College, and Penn State University’s main campus, it is also easily accessible from Huntingdon, Altoona, Hollidaysburg, and Lewistown PA.

C. Barton McCann School of Art sets the standard for elegance among nature. Situated on 250 acres of lush green forest, wild flowers, ferns, annuals, and perennials, it is the ideal setting for the wedding of your dreams. Babbling brooks, streams and ponds offer unsurpassed serenity and beauty. Both outdoor and indoor spaces are available for ceremonies, receptions, retreats and parties of all types. Lodging is also available on-site.

Founded in 2006 by David and Sandy Corneal, The McCann School of Art was created in loving memory of Mr. Corneal's grandfather, Charles Barton McCann. Mr. McCann was an art teacher who had a passion for teaching art in nature to youth. Our event venue helps to fund scholarships for our students and to allow this artistic passion to continue with future generations.

Modern facilities were created to blend perfectly with nature as well as, provide all the creature comforts needed for a comfortable celebration.
