The First Parish in Portland is a unique and historic wedding venue located in the heart of Portland, Maine. This historic Meeting House is almost 300 years old. While still maintaining the original architecture, they have recently upgraded our sound and lighting system, installed an elevator and accessible entrance, and updated to a new security system for easy access to our building. If you are looking for a more traditional setting to say your heartfelt 'I dos,' look no further.

Facilities and Capacity

At First Parish Portland Unitarian Universalist, they can host weddings of all sizes. For a larger celebration, the Meeting House can comfortably fit up to 550 people. Intimate gatherings of up to 100 people can fit perfectly into the Parish Hall. Our Memorial Garden is a sanctuary in the city. It can accommodate small gatherings if an outdoor ceremony is what you wish, and photos in the garden are included with every Wedding Package.

Services Offered

Before your ceremony, First Parish offers a get-ready room for you to prepare and relax. The event team will help assist you by providing setup and cleanup services.
