This is an amazing venue for a wedding. With that being said it comes with many challenges due to the fact that it is a public park, an outdoor space, and only has approved catering vendor. Do not select this venue if you are on a small budget as the costs add up quickly.

Gardens are beautifully kept all by volunteers.

First of all, the garden is BEAUTIFUL! Enough to outweigh the less than excellent factors. Orange Blossom Catering is actually the company that manages weddings at the garden. They were easy to get a hold of, but they didn't seem very organized or on top of things. On my contract, which looks like their standard contract, it said they would autocharge the same credit card the remaining balance 30 days before the ceremony date. They called me almost a month after, angry that we hadn't paid them the remaining bill. Also, they called the morning of my wedding, saying it could rain, and they would sell me a tent for $700. I didn't think this is an appropriate thing to do on the most stressful morning ever, offer to sell me something ELSE. But it is so beautiful! We decorated to gazebo there a lot because it looks like a tick tak toe board, but my mom made it look awesome. They do provide one staff person to help keep it private since the garden is still open to the public (only certain parts). Do NOT have the reception there though. The room is not good. We had ours at the Belleair Country Club, just 10 minutes away, and there are tons of great venues around there.
