Carolyn did a fabulous job with our wedding florals. I contacted her tons of times throughout the wedding process to help get to a "vision," as I really had no idea what I wanted and she helped me work through whimsical, white/green, natural florals for our outdoor wedding at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla. Carolyn was also flexible in working with our budget and a breath of fresh air in person, by email, and on the phone. She is super positive and responsive.

For our wedding, Carolyn put together eucalyptus and other greenery for our tables, bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, boutonnières for the groomsmen and officiant, decor for the bride/groom table, and candles and slender glasses for the guest tables. She also put together big white rose petals for our flower toss, and brought a classy box to hold the petals for guests to take on their way to the ceremony. Our wedding cake also arrived to the venue lopsided, and Carolyn was asked to add florals to make it look presentable - and totally succeeded - I wouldn't have known except that our planner let us know.

Gosh where do I begin about Carolyn...
I own Simply Taleah, an event planning and wedding coordinating company. One of my brides was planning a destination wedding at the Alpine Castle and she asked me for a reference for a florist. Obviously the first person who came to mind was Carolyn and luckily she was available! After getting rave feedback from my bride about how grateful she was that I connected them and how easy and seamless the planning process was going I knew I had referred the right florist!

After lots of planning and conversations, the day arrived and everything was planned perfectly, to a tea, so I thought. But what I I didn't plan for was a natural disaster, as just hours before the wedding, the West Fire in Alpine broke out directly behind our venue. What could have turned into a complete and total disaster was saved by the team I had supporting me. Carolyn helped make my day so much less stressful considering everything we had planned with the couple before their big day went up in smoke and we had to rework our entire setup and day.
And Carolyn being the AMAZING woman and business owner she is, rolled up her sleeves, happily stayed hours after she was supposed to leave and help recreate their dream. Carolyn is an absolute ROCKSTAR!!! And not only were her floral creations BEAUTIFUL, she was so attentive, calm and generous to help in anyway she could. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your artistic, beautiful and inspired work, walking through fire with me and bringing my client to tears over what you created for her!!!
