My friend asked me to drive to Tucson from Phoenix to visit Free Ever After Bridal to look for my wedding dress. I had no idea what I was looking for in a dress... other than I wanted to spend less than $500. I tried on a few dresses and hadn't found the "one" yet, when the assistant rushed to the front window and removed the dress from the mannequin! I tried the dress on and we all knew immediately that this was MY dress! I am grateful to Free Ever After Bridal for helping me find the dress of my dreams. Free Ever After was the obvious choice for my first dress shopping trip because I knew they were a non-profit and appreciated their mission. Also for my own sustainability reasons I wanted to buy a pre-owned dress.

It was easy to make an appointment and I lucked out and had the place to myself. The volunteers listened to what I was looking for, helped me find some great options, and nudged me towards some dresses I may not have picked out on my own. I didn't experience any of the pressures my friends did at the big box stores.

I scored a super unique knee-length lace beaded dress. I'm sure "short, but still fancy/bridal looking" wasn't the easiest request to fill but this dress fit the bill. One of the volunteers was also a seamstress and was able to tell me on the spot if it was realistic to alter the dress. It couldn't have been easy to take in a lace/beaded dress in a couple sizes, but it was perfect.

They also have other formal dresses besides wedding gowns. I bought my rehearsal dinner dress (sequined shift dress) and a floor length gown for another wedding I was attending there. Every time I was there the volunteers were helpful and friendly.

The bride was extremely happy she found exactly what she was looking for. Very clean establishment very polite. Right price lower than expected. Name Brand Wedding Dresses .
