Freedom Farms Event Center is truly an amazing venue for any rustic wedding! The venue was perfect to hold our 350+ wedding guests with room to spare for mingling, dancing, and corn hole. There was a large rustic bar to serve drinks and plenty of room for buffet style food and dessert. There was plenty of room for parking and additional food trucks; we had a traveling pizza oven set up for appetizers. The building is privately located and is surrounded by stunning fields, trees, and has a pond that made for a beautiful back drop in every photo. The sunset photos turned out amazing especially around the pond! My husband and I were thrilled with the venues laid back farm feel on such a beautiful piece of property. Freedom Farms helped to make one of best days of our lives even more amazing!!!

Our experience at Freedom Farms was amazing; it was such a blessing to not have to deal with uptight, rigid coordinators. Casey basically gave us free reign of the facility for a few days before our wedding which gave us ample time to set up. Tim King saved the day for us on multiple occasions; he tore down poison ivy from the ceremony tree, he moved the port-a-johns, he evened out the gravel around the pavilion, and he even took care of the trash, recycling, and compost for us - truly above and beyond! Having a rustic farm wedding meant that there were many unforeseen tasks that needed to be accomplished by an experienced farmer, and it was a huge help to have Tim and his bright, can-do personality around. A couple of downsides that are inevitable as the farm continues to develop the pavilion into a better and better venue location: there are no permanent restrooms, just port-a-johns, which we supplemented with an expensive restroom trailer for the comfort of our guests. A number of them commented that they were thankful they didn't have to use a conventional port-a-john in their wedding clothes, but just know that this is a significant added expense that comes with using Freedom Farms. Second, the terrain surrounding the pavilion is a bit rough. Again, this is to be expected since it's a working farm and their real business is not to host weddings, but realize that it was a bit of a stressor for some of our guests. The rough gravel parking area and slope down to the ceremony area made it difficult for older, unsteady guests to walk. Overall, though, these few rough patches that come with the territory of using a rustic space are nothing compared to the marvelous day we had for our wedding. The beautiful backdrop of the pond during the day, a hillside full of fireflies at night, and a family of ducks that nearly joined us down the aisle made our day so very memorable and special, and we are so thankful to Casey and the King family for making it possible.
