The cake we picked out was beautiful, we had several flavors to choose from, and it tasted wonderful. We did each tier a different flavor. It was pretty in expensive, and since my groom and I were paying for our entire wedding ourselves, we were looking for inexpensive. I would have been totally happy with choosing our wedding cake from here, except we ran into a few problems. 1. When we ordered the cake, we paid for it upfront. We also asked SEVERAL time, "Are the flowers on the cake included in the price? Do the stands come with the cake?" We were told several times everything came included. Since I paid, all we'd have to do is come pick it up the morning of our wedding. Well, a few weeks after ordering it, I get a call from the lady who we dealt with when ordering it, and she said there would be an extra charge for the flowers on the cake, and the boxes for the cake. I was taken back. I said, "You told us everything was paid for. Everything came with it. There'd be nothing else to worry about." She replied, "Well, I charged you the wrong price for the cake. I didn't charge you for the cake, I just charged you for the 150 slices, and I charged you a cheaper price for the slices. So my manager has been fighting me about this and you need to pay this other charge for the flowers and the boxes to carry the cake." I refused. I was told it wasn't my fault I was charged wrong. I was told I wouldn't have to pay for anything else. I was told I would get everything. and I already paid for the cake. The bakery did finally drop the other charges, we got the cake the morning of the wedding, and it tasted wonderful and looked wonderful. The service when ordering, however, was far from wonderful.
