I’m Jess, the photographer behind Golden with Light. I pretty much pinch myself every day that I get to go out and photograph one of you. I feel so lucky to be trusted by the families, the couples, the kids, the individuals that allow me into their space, sharing themselves with me. It’s not easy, I know.

My wedding work caters toward the upscale, untraditional and love-inspired brides and grooms out there (you know who you are), and my portrait work focuses on bringing out your beautiful self in all your authenticity. As a photographer I’m one part documentarian, one part guide, one part observer, one part enthusiast, one part dreamer and wholly an artist. My background in photography includes a fine art photography degree from Bard College, in New York's Hudson Valley. I currently live in Maine and cover New England and beyond as a portrait, wedding and commercial photographer. I’m so glad you found me and can’t wait to work with you.
