FIVE STARS. This is a crazy story of things just working out and true fate. I had actually bought another dress somewhere else (6 days after getting engaged) on December 30, 2022 for my August 19, 2023 wedding (...if I had ordered it even the following week it would have been rush which is wild to me).

From that point on, I started to feel super "off" about the decision. It felt like I made it too quickly, it was the only detail of the wedding I was second guessing, and started feeling anxiety that it wasn't the right choice for me, the venue, etc.

Months passed, and I started seeing ads for GLL's Goldie which was exactly the look / cut / vibe that I realized I wanted, and my groom LOVES me in a halter neckline. It's so elegant and felt like it fit the vibe of our venue (coastal chic) perfectly, but I had already paid for another dress, it was probably too late to find a new one, and the anxiety around it just kept building.

On July 29th (weeks before my date), I decided spontaneously to book an appt at the GLL showroom because I saw Goldie was available as a "ready to wear" so wanted to at least try her on to see if I should just buy another dress for a second look. Mary and the GLL team couldn't have been more wonderful, my mom and I enjoyed the rose tea and they helped style me with the perfect veil (to wear with my "ceremony dress") and earrings to compliment the look. There were 3 Goldie dresses in my size available worldwide across 26 showrooms, so I was able to order it, get it the following week, and squeeze in an alternations appointment all within the 3 weeks leading up to my wedding.

I felt relieved immediately about this solve, bc I truly loved this dress. So get this... the other place (that always felt weird to me!!) tried to reschedule my first fitting with them TWICE and squeeze in all 3 of my fittings within the 3 days leading up to my wedding. I couldn't make that work with everything else going on, so asked them to refund me for the purchase and they agreed with no questions asked. It couldn't have worked out more perfectly – Goldie was "the one" and I knew it. All of it totally worked out.

The Chai Lena and Lumi veil was the wedding dress combination of my dreams . GLL was the first boutique I visited and I clicked with the Lena early on. I wasn’t ready to commit so I shopped around and came back, and I’m so glad that I did. The dress was perfectly cut to my hourglass/pear figure and not only looked stunning, but FELT amazing. The crepe fabric allowed me to dance the night away. I felt so confident in my dress and I give the utmost thanks to the gals (specifically Bec!!) at GLL for making sure I felt great in my dress. The team has unmatched customer service and patience—go experience it for yourself.

Phenomenal experience. I can't rave enough! I'm still so I'm love with my dress. If I do say so myself, I was a knockout! My dress also had great movement unlike some of the other ones that I tried on before I found THE dress.
