Could not recommend working with Gull Lake Resort for your wedding enough! Due to COVID, we had to move our venue to the Stoatin Brae outdoor tent 3 months before our wedding date and it turned out to be such a blessing! The golf course/venue was absolutely beautiful and the Sales Director, Melissa was a life savor!! She was SUCH a huge help - so organized, responsive and just such a kind-hearted person overall. So happy we had our wedding here!

We had our reception here and we absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend it!

We booked over a year in advance but kept in contact with them over that time period. They allowed us to have a food tasting and kept us up to date with anything going on.

Because we booked so much in advance, there was a change in who ran it/who we worked with, but this change went smoothly and really well. As soon as the change happened, we met with the lady to run over everything we had talked about previously before so she was up to date, we could ask any questions, and we understood each other.

I went with a long list of questions, and she was able to answer every single one. She did whatever she could to accommodate our needs. She got us a TV to display a slideshow, she allowed us to store our flowers in a cool closet, and so much more.

She set up before (we would have been able to do a few tables the night before and then they would do the rest the same, except there was a late night event the night before), and it was beautiful. We went to show her how we would like it and she did it exactly like we had asked. We didn't have to worry about anything at all.

The food was amazing. There was so much choice (we chose to have 3 options), it was delicious (we got so many options), and it came out so professionally. We chose to have the sit down dinner (which actually worked out to be cheaper) and they brought us all out an individual salad, some bread, tea, coffee, water, etc. and then our main meal with potatoes and vegetables. We got and still do get so many compliments on how good our food was. Napkins, plates, and tablecloths are all included in the price too!

The lady we worked with was so good, she called me if she had an issue and the week leading up to our wedding, she gave me her cell phone and home number in case I had any big important questions. She really went above and beyond to help to make our reception perfect.

Gull Lake View did such an amazing job with our wedding reception, especially considering the circumstances we encountered along the way. We initially booked the outdoor tent at Blue Stem for our reception. As the date approached, the weather looked very challenging to use that space. The day before the wedding, the decision was made to switch to an indoor venue at Charles & Darl’s on the golf course. Melissa and her team worked tirelessly to transform the space into a beautiful reception venue with only a day’s notice! They handled every detail with care and took a lot of the stress off our plate. Melissa and her team were very personal and worked closely with us throughout the planning process and to accommodate every idea and request. Our day turned out perfectly thanks to them! I would highly recommend Gull Lake View for your wedding reception or any other events.
