Booking the Wedding Day Dog Attendant service through Happy Bark & Tails for my 11-month-old puppy was one of the best decisions I ever made. My now-husband and I were in the midst of planning our wedding when we decided to adopt our beautiful puppy, Oreo, and we wanted to ensure that he could be a part of our wedding. Thank goodness we found Happy Bark & Tails.

From our first meeting, the owner, Madeline, was informative, and caring, gave us a clear idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and took the time to answer all our questions. Every step of the way, Madeline was patient, responsive, and put us at ease. We even scheduled a meet-and-greet a few weeks before the wedding with Madeline and her husband, Gabriel, who is also a co-owner of the business. We were certain that they would not only care for Oreo but treat him like their own baby.

On the day of our wedding, Madeline and Gabriel arrived at our hotel and immediately took care of Oreo. They put on his cute “best dog” scarf and bow tie and handled him while my husband and I got ready for our wedding. They walked him, fed him, played with him, helped him pose for pictures with us, and treated Oreo like family. They transported him to the venue, took him back to our hotel, and stayed with him until we got back. We couldn’t have asked for a better company or people to work with! They also documented our wedding day with photos from Oreo’s perspective. The gallery of photos was beautiful and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Our pup couldn't have been in better hands!! Madeline and her husband arrived promptly with a bag full of everything they would need day-of, in case I forgot anything. They were mindful of keeping him out of the sun and giving him lots of water to cool him down on the hot June day. They had toys to keep him focused for photos. He had also gotten injured shortly before the wedding and was struggling with stairs; they did a fantastic job picking him up and keeping him from accidentally harming himself. By the end of the day, they picked him up and held him and he melted like a puddle. He stayed overnight and was happy as anything the next morning. The gallery at the end was the icing on the cake - thank you so much Happy Bark & Tails for ensuring Bentley had a great experience!

The Happy Bark & Tails team is so incredible--they made our dream of having our dog involved in our wedding a reality and for that we cannot recommend them enough!! They are so kind and clearly love animals and made both us and our Rex feel so at ease. They traveled to our home for a wonderful meet and greet, arranged pickup and return service to our pet-sitter day of wedding, managed our anxious pup during photos and ceremony, and ensured he was fully prepared to fulfil his ring-bearer duties. On top of all of this, they also captured some incredible photos from Rex's POV throughout the day, which we will forever cherish.
