Planning your wedding is a storytelling journey, a creative adventure, and an amazing experience involving expertise, transparency, connections, collaborations, and trust. WHAT IS TORI'S FAVE PART OF WEDDING PLANNING?
After almost 3 decades of event planning, I realize I truly enjoy doing full day wedding celebrations that include both ceremony and reception so that I can be your support system, expert, and resource from concept to creation. My super power is personalizing and customizing weddings and celebrations so that they represent YOU, and are unique from other weddings you have attended. To provide an amazing experience for everyone, I create practical strategies to implement romanticized plans and ideas.
WHAT PLANNING PACKAGES DOES TORI OFFER?
We know that weddings are expensive, especially destination weddings. All of those little numbers definitely add up, and we like to avoid sticker shock by being totally transparent with our clients. Celebrations by Tori offers Full Service Planning option where nothing is overlooked from design to production, or Wedding Day Coordination where I help you finalize and implement the plans you have made. When hired for either Wedding Day Coordination or Full Service Planning, I am on site on your wedding day with at least one additional event manager, from set up to break down, to ensure the seamless flow and facilitation of your celebration. Through interviews, conversations, emails, and more, I learn about you and produce a detailed event resume or wedding blueprint that showcases your individualized planning journey.

A perfect day!
Tori has deep roots in Hawaii and connected us to the best vendors. They were all amazing to work with, and clearly love working with her. She not only helped us with every aspect of the wedding, but also gave us recommendations for the pre-wedding Beach Day we wanted to throw for our guests. Thanks to her we went to an amazing beach (not well-known to tourists), and were able to easily rent beach equipment and games for the perfect prelude to the big day. The wedding itself was perfect, and huge credit for that is due to Tori and her team. She has a sharp eye for design and everything was appointed beautifully. Every recommendation she’d made, around furniture, flowers, etc., was perfect, and we were thankful we’d listened to her. She even surprised us with countless additional details throughout the wedding. Tori has an abundance of awesome ideas, and one suggestion we took was having a flower bar during cocktail hour, with an instructor showing guests how to create leis. We loved coming back from our portrait session to see every one of our guests rocking flowers—it was a huge hit. Tori was reading the room and adjusting the schedule to flow seamlessly, for example having us move a couple speeches earlier, to while orders were being taken, to break them up and feel less long. Obviously we had spam musubi (and ube cookies) as late-night snacks for the guests on their way out, and as a final surprise Tori had set up an extraordinary amount of flowers in our hotel room, along with a display of our tribute photos.
Tori is genuine and caring, and her design for our wedding felt very personal and tailored to us as a couple. She can be a mad scientist when you need creativity and vision, and then be efficient and organized when things need to get done. Excellent wedding planner!
Tori is very experienced and knowledgeable about how to run various types of weddings, and she worked with us to plan our wedding within our budget and vision, suggesting the perfect combination of vendors and designs to include. We wanted to be conscious of our budget despite planning a wedding in Hawaii and were very happy with how everything turned out. On wedding day, you can trust Tori to lead the charge and get everyone on the same page to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Tori suggested all of our vendors and organized meetings and information with those vendors to ensure a successful wedding. Tori was available for calls and very responsive to our questions throughout the planning process. We would definitely recommend Tori for your wedding, especially if it’s in Hawai’i!
