Megan Hawkey is the owner, founder and photographer of Hawkey Photography. She is a 30 year-old freelance photographer who moved from Virginia Beach to Philadelphia in 2005 to attend the Art Institute. She began her career by shooting weddings, parties, and portraits while she was still in school and instantly fell in love with it. In fact, the first wedding she ever attended was one she was hired to shoot!

Megan loves to mix vintage and modern styles and has found her niche in photojournalistic style photography. Her love of music, fashion, art and pop culture, along with her sense of humor, has helped to define her as a photographer.

Megan now works as a photographer in Virginia Beach with her supportive husband Kevin and their rescued Pit Bull, Ripley.
