My hair was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day, it was perfection. However, the only melt down I had on my wedding day was because of hair and makeup. (Ashlee Bivens-makeup and Heather Valentine did my hair). Ashlee asked me when I needed to be ready by and I told her by 4 and she said ok! Next thing I know she scheduled me to start hair and makeup for 8am. I figured they had to start early because I had so many bridal party members. However, Heather showed up with two assistants and Ashlee showed up with one assistant. They started doing 3-4 girls at a time and wanted to have me finished by NOON for my 7 o'clock wedding.. I had no time to get my photographer or videographer to come and take pictures and film. She did not care at all. For the money I paid for her service, I expected to at least have her for the day or a time slot that worked for me. I have an email that I sent Heather stating that I had one girl who was ill who wouldn't make it to my wedding. So my girls who needed hair went from 11 to 10 and advised her that 2 of those girls were flower girls. My number stayed the same on the day of: 2 flower girls, 1 mom and 7 bridesmaids and everyone was completely finished by noon! My advice if you use her-set your preferred time slot before you pay a deposit!!! But definitely use Heather because my hair was perfect and I've had a LOT of people try to do my hair and she's the only one who got it right!

Be careful with this girl. I booked her months in advance for my wedding. She didn't deposit my check until months later and as soon as she did is when she informed me of her unreasonable demands. She apparently had someone book after me who's wedding she wanted more and scheduled them for the ideal time slot of 1pm. She had inquired w my wedding planner what time my venue opened and then said she would do my parties hair at 8AM! She tried to blame my wedding planner saying she "confirmed" this time which is not true, her message was an inquiry about the venue. She refused to give back my deposit when we said 8AM would not work for hair for a 530pm wedding, and she told me to refer to her contract which does not promise when she will begin, only her "ending time". She was completely unwilling to work with me on a realistic start time or be professional about the entire thing and refund my money bc this was her mistake. Do not trust booking first secures the time you want or that she won't priorities someone booking after you. She came back after cashing my deposit and said if I want to guarantee her for anytime the day of my wedding and assure she books no one else it will be $1500! Wtf?! I booked first and she screwed me over royally. She even discussed upping the price per person after she cashed my deposit and it was nowhere in her internet made contract. Prior to cashing my check, she also didn't mention her travel fee for what she considers "outside the Tulsa metro" is $75-88. Overall, this was the most unprofessional experience I've had with a vendor for my wedding. She will refuse to give you your money back when she makes ridiculous demands and tried to site to her "contract", even though it contains ambiguous terminology and she attempted to change the terms of it multiple times.
