It’s the time spent listening, asking questions, connecting and sketching with our clients, combined with our creativity, that empower us to make jewelry that is special and tailormade to our client. Team
Heidi Lowe made her first silver ring in a high school class, she knew she would study metals and jewelry in college. Heidi attended the Maine College of Art and then went on to earn a master’s degree in Metals and Jewelry from the State University of NY - New Paltz. It was here where she was instilled with the importance of community and was shown examples of successful working artists and the highest standard of work. After graduating she lived in Brooklyn, worked for a contemporary art gallery in New York City and sold her own work at a market in the SoHo neighborhood.
Heidi opened Heidi Lowe Gallery in 2006 and exhibits jewelry by internationally recognized and emerging artists as well as her own artwork, both onsite and in pop-ups shows. Making her own unique collections and custom jewelry is another central aspect of her business. She and her team teach a variety of jewelry making classes in her studio year round. Heidi is also a certified business and life coach for creative entrepreneurs and students throughout the US and Canada. At her core, Heidi is an artist. It’s clear that cultivating creativity, appreciation and connections are big common threads in her life, her gallery and most everything she does.
When Heidi’s not working, making jewelry, teaching or coaching, she’s focused on family and friends, and her dog, Coco. She’s always looking forward to her next big travel plans and also spends her down time reading, drawing and doing yoga. Artistic and personal growth and investigating different aspects of the spirit, meditation are embedded into her life practice as well.
