Spending that kind of money per night, and total, I was skeptical... I mean, it's A LOT!! Especially, after having already paid for a wedding, right?? But after spending 4 days there, I can't have imagined going anywhere else!!! It was only a little over an hour from home, and might be what some call a mini-moon, but to us it was a haven, a sanctuary, a place where we could go and just reconnect after all the madness. Just be us, in our cozy little cabin with spectacular views. As an added bonus, Wimberely was a charming little town too. We enjoyed shopping in their little HEB, eating at Mima's, and seeing all the little shops. The cabin itself took all my hopes and dreams of where I'd want to retire and rolled it into one- wrap around porch, HUGE shower- though a nice tub would have been divine, gorgeous fireplace, TV to relax with, a grill that delivered time and again, a bed to die for, and a hot tub!! Like I said, our own little piece of heaven on Earth.... Now, I just have to hope it isn't booked for our anniversary!!

*One more note: As you enter the Ruby Red Cabin where we stayed there is a table, with a guestbook. Reading everyone's stories and adding our own was the perfect end to our perfect honeymoon!!
