Historic Travellers Rest is a museum and wedding venue located in Nashville, Tennessee. Facilities and Capacity

Couples can choose between outdoor ceremony sites as well as an indoor space that accommodates up to 150 guests. Those with larger celebrations can host as many as 250 loved ones with the addition of an outdoor tent. The couple of honor can exchange vows beneath mature trees against the backdrop of the main house or surrounded by white fencing. The exterior of the residence is characterized by tall, evenly spaced columns and balconies. For the reception, the newlyweds can guide loved ones into a spacious barn suitable for setting up a banquet and dancing. It is climate-controlled to keep guests feeling as comfortable as possible. The building also features a limestone fireplace, exposed beams, and large barn doors. Historic Travellers Rest offers a wedding package that includes 11 hours of rental time. Each couple will have on-site parking for their guests, one hour of access to the property for photography prior to their special day, and a barn-cleaning before the event. Additionally, couples and their loved ones are granted access to the venue’s herb garden, barn, and grounds throughout the day. The professional staff at the venue can set up furniture for the ceremony and reception as an add-on service. The facility also allows outside vendors to help couples further customize the experience to reflect their vision. The team can provide a list of preferred vendors to help with this process. In addition to hosting couples’ wedding day, the experienced event staff at the venue can assist with a range of other important events.
