Honestly out of all our wedding hiccups, I can honestly say that my venue choice was NOT one of them. Laura and Holly were professional and extremely organized. I felt complete faith that I had chosen the right venue! Food was amazing and the staff was incredible! I would highly recommend this venue to other weddings not to mention extremely affordable. Amazing night that I wish I could do it all over again;)

Lynette & Cheri with the Holiday Inn in Independence provided the absolute perfect experience for our wedding block in July 2019. One of us is a lifelong local and the other is a recent transplant from NY; Lynette and Cheri expressed the utmost patience, professionalism and customer service for our wedding hotel block that we have ever heard of or seen. They not only handed out our customized welcome bags for all hotel block guests, but they also made the booking process very VERY easy. In addition, they also provided us updates during the booking process, were very receptive via email and phone, and they far exceeded our needs and expectations of the entire weekend. We were lucky enough to meet the night count requirement for the shuttles to/from our reception and for the hospitality room for bridal party to prepare the morning of the wedding. The entire Holiday Inn staff expressed the utmost patience and supplied us with extra chairs, tables, full-length mirrors and water while the women were preparing the morning of the chaotic day.

This was an absolute gem to find in the area; if you don't book your hotel block at the Holiday Inn in Independence if your wedding is local, you are making a HUGE mistake.

The 48th class reunion for John Marshall High School class of 1965 was held her on August 10, 2013. Lynette handled everything perfectly. We've have nothing but positive comments from our classmates, especially about the food. Thank you so much!
