About

Our historic house museum and Carriage Hall Event Center offer a unique location for a wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, shower, or any other type of event. We offer flexible catering options by allowing our clients to choose the caterer they'd like to work with. Also offered is full bar service with customized options from a cash bar ($200 minimum) to partially or fully hosted.

We invite you to set up an appointment to meet our wedding coordinator, Amanda, and view our lovely historic home and event center. During the meeting you'll receive your personal and customized quote from the Hormel Historic Home.

Built in 1871 The Hormel Historic Home strives to preserve the Home and History of the George A. and Lillian Hormel Family. Our mission is to maintain the home and to honor their family legacy of Hospitality, Music/Arts, Education, and Community Service.

The Hormel Historic Home is an amazing venue! The staff is so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Amanda is absolutely wonderful. So responsive to emails or calls and willing to listen to your vision and try her best to make it happen. Choosing them for our venue is the best decision I made!

A very beautiful house and a very beautiful setting for a wedding. The staff were all professional and easy to work with. The house its self is so stunning that not much decorations were needed to make the wedding pretty. We were very pleased with HHH and their staff. I highly recommend the HHH for weddings!

The HHH staff were very responsive and helpful! The home itself is so beautiful that little decor needs to be added, and the recommended vendors work so well with the home itself, you don't really need to seek other vendors outside of their approved list! I highly recommend HHH.
