I started sippin' coffee at the ripe old age of 4. I remember I use to follow my grandma around in the morning while she got ready for work, and I had to copy her with my little mug filled with mostly milk and a little bit of coffee. It's been a staple in my life, through highschool, my work life as a collision technician, and then somehow around 26 I found my way into a specialty coffee shop in Houston. After 3 years of piddling here and there part time, I decided it was time to start a coffee career, and opened Houston Coffee Cart. Less than a year later, I quit my job as a collision tech, and here we are! Now you'll find me mostly behind the coffee cart or working a shift at Tenfold Coffee in the Houston Heights. If i'm not pulling shots of espresso i'm probably popping wheelies on my mountain bike or cuddled up on the couch with my wife, and our three dogs, watching cartoons and drinking, you guessed it, coffee!
