Based on all the wedding pages I follow, it seems like so many brides and grooms question whether having a videographer is worth it. After working with Ian and In Depth Photo & Video, I can say with absolutely certainty that having a videographer is a MUST! There is something about getting to watch moments from such an important day that is really special. When we reached out to Ian (following a recommendation from a friend), we had already booked a photographer. He was so professional and worked really well with our photographer even though they didn’t know each other. They both bounced ideas off of each other for different shots. Ian is really creative but also has a relaxed presence, which helps make the whole experience not feel too artificial or overly posed. We are so happy with our highlight video and have watched it a ton already! You get a link to the video on Vimeo so it’s easy to share with friends and family, but you also get three hardcopy DVDs. Each DVD comes in it own leather case featuring a photo on the front. Each case has it’s own black box. They look amazing, so we’ll probably gift one to each of our mothers because they seem to enjoy watching our wedding video even more than we do (if that’s possible). We had a great experience and got a stunning video. We would absolutely recommend Ian and In Depth Photo & Video to anyone!

After 20 years in the event industry I know a lot of photographers, but when it came time to choose one for my own wedding I went right to Ian at In Depth. He delivered great photos at an affordable price, and in a timely fashion. He was seemingly everywhere at once without ever being obtrusive. After viewing and liking our friend's wedding highlight video which was done by In Depth Photo & Video, we reached out and got a proposal. I originally worked with Tom to get proposals and he was very thorough in making sure I had answers to all of my questions. After getting some additional quotes we chose IDPV based on our friend's experience, that their work looked great and that they fit our budget. We decided to use Ian to shoot our wedding day since that is who our friends used. Ian was great in the month leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day he worked great with our photographer and captured some excellent footage. We received our highlight video about three months after the wedding and loved it. It was extremely well done and let us relive our amazing wedding day. About a month after that we received our full length film. We've loved that too. Ian was good about making a couple of edits to that per our request as well.

After receiving our finished product, my biggest advice to other couples is definitely do get a video of your wedding day. While photos are great, the ability to have professionally done video is even more special. The ability to hear your entire ceremony and see footage from the day is truly worth it.
