This venue was absolutely beautiful and unique- my husband and I loved the bright and airy atrium. It's a great place for both a ceremony and a reception- the room flip was handled flawlessly by Damico. There are so many great photo opportunities within and around the building- lots of brick, a great staircase with architectural details, close proximity to the Walker Art Center / Sculpture Gardens. IMS is conveniently located just on the other side of the freeway from downtown Minneapolis- we blocked rooms for our guests at a few hotels downtown, and no one got lost or came late. This property comes with Damico as the caterer, and they did a fabulous job. We received nothing but compliments on the quality of the food, and the staff was extremely friendly and professional.
