Thank you for considering our services to document your special day! We treat each couple with special attention and care to provide as much of a personalized touch as possible. We understand how important this day will be in your life, and we aim to capture every detail and emotion. Our goal is to record memories in a photojournalistic manner so that years down the road, they will bring back all of the emotions of your wedding day. We also strive to create photos worthy of hanging on your wall. We take our work very seriously since your wedding photos will last for many future generations after the last cake bite is eaten and the last dance is danced.

We are a husband and wife team, and having gone through the planning process ourselves, we can really relate to our brides and grooms and the desire to have amazing pictures capturing some of the most special moments of their lives. This unique position means that we make a really great team when taking pictures. Jason is the primary photographer and Laurie acts as a second photographer and assistant. For sessions such as engagement shoots or honeymoon portraits, Jason is the photographer, but during weddings Laurie will also be taking photos. This is advantageous because there are some moments that are great with two perspectives such as capturing the groom's reaction as his bride walks down the aisle, or the tears of the guests as a speech is given. There is so much going on during your day, it is so important to make sure not a single moment is missed, that is why all of our wedding packages include both of us.

Jason has a natural love for learning the newest and greatest photography techniques. He believes in using intricate lighting to get an effect unlike anything the average phone or point-and-shoot camera could produce. He is a strong believer in having off-camera flashes to produce more exciting and flattering photos. It is difficult to rely purely on natural lighting because different places are unique and the weather can change so quickly. Therefore, he is prepared for rain or shine, dark churches or airy beaches. He also uses some of the best professional lenses on the market to make sure your images come out sharp and vibrant. After your photography session he is very dedicated to post-processing your images using professional software to enhance the images to make them pop. He aims to deliver your photos quickly because we both know that it is difficult waiting for pictures from such important events. Laurie was introduced to photography by Jason and she has learned a lot from Jason and shoots photos in the same style so that the pictures all look nice together. She also will be around to help with making sure people are in flattering poses during small photo sessions or during some of the formal pictures at your wedding. She has a natural eye for what will make a picture look interesting!

Outside of photography, we are both astronomers. We realized as our passion grew for photography that we wanted to pursue the hobby as a business on the side. However coming from planning our own wedding, it was obvious that wedding photography is very difficult to afford for some couples. Our aim is to make your photography affordable without suffering greatly on quality. Since we both have a full time job, we can offer lower prices than many photographers in the area and we are really wanting to help the budget bride, the destination wedding couple, or just the couple that wants to save their money for something else. Our prices for weddings range from as little as $400 up to $2000 for full day coverage, and range from $200 to $350 for engagements or family portraits.
