Hi! I'm Jessica and I live in Richmond, VA. I'm not a native Richmonder, I was actually born in a little sleepy town called Bozeman, MT where I lived with my hippie parents for 3 years until they decided it was time to move back to their home state of Minnesota! Minnesota is where I used to call home before I met my wonderful and amazing husband. My husband is the reason why I now live in beautiful Richmond and I haven't looked back since! (How we met is a whole other story so you will have to ask me about that when I meet you!) I also have 3 crazy little babies at home ages 7, 4 and 1.5 and 1 fur baby who is an Australian Shephard. My life is all sorts of crazy but I can't live without photography. I didn't know I loved photography until my first daughter was born when I got my first "real" camera. There was a defining moment when I took my first picture. There was a feeling that came over me that I will never forget. Photography lights a fire inside me. When I nail a shot of a couple crying tears of joy, or a quiet moment between a father with his daughter right before he walks her down the isle, I get the tingles all over and I am so thankful this is my job! When I'm not obsessing over photography or my family, I am usually obsessing over food, books, travel or being a Netflix junkie! I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Shameless, Homeland, just to name a few! Anyway, enough about me! I want to hear about you!
