DJ Mistry is the absolute best! We originally hired Mehul because we knew we could trust him after he did our sister’s wedding over ten years ago. We knew having him fly from Arizona to San Diego, CA would be worth it but we never could’ve imagined how he would create the perfect atmosphere for each of our wedding events. During the planning process, Mehul was remarkably responsive, organized and patient, always ensuring we stayed on track. He worked with us every step of the way, not only from the music we wanted for each event but he also helped curate everything from flooring to lighting and everything else in between. We felt that he made it his mission to make everything we could dream of truly come to life. In fact, we even decided to add an LED wall at our reception late in the process & he made it happen and provided creative suggestions that transformed our reception into an entirely new world. He made sure to be proactive with any provisions our venue required and had solutions to any obstacle that came up.

From surprising us with a Dholi at our reception to suggesting twinkle lights for our LED background to blend into our curtains to being our biggest hype man at every event, he went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend truly magical.

It always brings a smile to our faces when Mehul texts to wish us on holidays or just to check in to see how we are doing. DJ Mistry is a high quality DJ, emcee and lighting vendor in the Southwest region. The first impression you’ll get is his responsiveness. He is extremely passionate about his work and will always get back to you very quickly with any question or need. His experience shows across the venues he’s worked at, then setups he’s capable of producing, and his music mixes. Mehul was our DJ for our baraat, wedding, and reception and did a phenomenal job! I found Mehul through instagram about a year before our wedding and anytime we had a question/needed help with ANYTHING related to the wedding planning process, Mehul was always SO QUICK to respond back to our texts. He was more helpful and knowledgable about all things related to South Asian weddings than our wedding planners. His extensive experience as a DJ made us feel comfortable working with him and trusting his judgment on so many of the decisions we needed to make. His team did our stage wrap & dance floor wrap and provided the lighting, uplights, cold sparklers, dry ice fog and projector screen to play our Same-Day Edit at the reception. He listened to all our requests and was SUPER easy and flexible to work with. The music he played was amazing/vibey and he kept the dance floor LIT all night long. One of his team members took so much content on the dance floor and created an awesome instagram reel for us to recap our reception night and serve as a memory for us forever. 10/10 would recommend Mehul to be your DJ!!
