John is entirely too good at what he does. I have a very unique engagement ring and I wanted a custom wedding band made to fit with it so that I could wear them both together. In our first meeting, he was able to sit with me at his computer and sketch up some ideas, digitally recreating my engagement ring via some fancy software so that he could build around it's specific shape. Once we had a design we both liked, he produced a wax version for me to come back and try. It was pretty much perfect on the first shot, so he cast it in white gold to match my engagement ring, and on the day I picked it up it only needed the tiniest of adjustments for them to fit together perfectly.

He made the process incredibly easy and is all around a great guy and a fantastic artist. He even insisted on cleaning and shining my engagement ring for me at our meetings and offered to take care of both rings in the future. I would definitely go to him for custom pieces again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone else!

When it came time for the talk about engagement, a friend of mine (an artist) who had done her own search for a custom ring designer recommended John Cattermole. My then boyfriend and I had seen the work he created for my friend and were very excited about the possibility of having him create our rings.

When the proposal came, I couldn't have been happier with the ring. It looked both modern and antique (in my opinion) which is what I was hoping for. I had never seen a ring like it, and it was exactly what I wanted.

As we moved through the wedding planning process, we knew we wanted John to create our bands. It was wonderful to be able to sit in his studio and be a part of the design process. It was thrilling to see the ring come to life on his computer.

We could not be happier with our rings. We both get many compliments on how unique our designs are, as well as on the quality of the rings.

I plan on using John for any jewelry I might want in the future. He was wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend him for anyone who wants an original design.

My now-husband wanted to custom design a ring for me, so after a lot of research, he chose to work with John. I absolutely love my engagement ring, and I have received many compliments on it. Naturally, we went back to him to design our wedding bands, and we were both so pleased with them. John spent so much time working with us to find a design we loved.
