Johnston Woods is a serene retreat and wedding venue located in McDonald, Tennessee. This peaceful location is nestled among 400 acres with rustic woods and pond views. There are numerous outdoor areas on the property to hold your wedding ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner, as well as engagement parties and bridal showers. The lodge serves as a beautiful indoor location.

Facilities and Capacity
Johnston Woods accommodates up to 350 people for your big day. The lake serves as a picturesque backdrop to say, "I do" outdoors on the dock. There is a large, wooden, open-air pavilion that boasts tall ceilings with fans and twinkling string lights. This space serves as a good, covered outdoor location to hold your reception. There is also a magnificent wood beam-constructed Hurt Lodge to hold an indoor reception. Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the interior of the lodge, allowing tons of natural light to flood through the 4,000-square-foot space. You and members of your wedding party can get ready at the retreat in one of the get-ready rooms. The venue is wheelchair accessible and offers parking for you and your guests.

Services Offered
There is an in-house catering company available for you to use during the wedding. However, you have the option to bring in an outside caterer, or any other vendor, that you choose to help execute your big day. Johnston Woods is an alcohol-free wedding venue. You have access to the venue the morning of the wedding to come and set up the space and decor. Indoor tables and chairs are provided by Johnston Woods.

Accommodations
This venue does serve as a meeting place for retreats and offers a number of lodging options on-site for you and your guests during the duration of your wedding events. There are a number of outdoor trails where you can explore nature along the wooded property.

Location
Johnston Woods is located outside downtown Cleveland and just 20 minutes north of Chattanooga, making it easily accessible for out-of-town guests. The airport in Chattanooga is about 30 minutes away.
