Joie is pronounced joy and Dianna and Monique sure are a joy to work with : ). I appreciate how they value getting to know their clients. Specifically, when I first reached out for more information, we met in person to talk and get acquainted and before our engagement shoot, my husband and I were asked to fill out surveys so that they could get to know us more.
One advantage of having two shooters was a shorter engagement shoot and two perspectives. Going into the session, my husband was hungover and not in the mood, but we got him smiling by the end of it. Dianna and Monique captured some great shots despite us being attacked by mutant mosquitoes. Since we chose to only purchase digital files, we were allowed access to 5 edited photos before the wedding and the rest after.
At our wedding, Dianna and Monique were very patient with our wedding party. We were all over the place still getting ready or just disappearing in general. I am glad that we planned out what group shots we wanted to get done going into the day because it got hectic. One thing I regret is not thinking about what specific shots I would want. Dianna and Monique did a great job of taking charge and arranging us, but in retrospect I would've liked pictures with the huge balloons and ceremony chairs outside. Unfortunately, the thought did not cross my mind that day and Monique and Dianna are not mind readers! I would suggest planning those types of things in advance too if you care because on the day of your wedding, there is not much time to be inspired -- especially since Dianna and Monique are very open to trying new things. I feel that they are exposed to fresh and unique ideas during their senior portrait shoots. When I asked about smoke bombs : ), they had already worked with them and had some leftover for our wedding day. I am excited to see how our photos turn out and thank you again!!
