The Jordan Lake Swimmers are a New Time String Band -- ideal when you want to set a warm acoustic mood to your wedding event with Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle and Dobro instrumentation and pleasing harmonies.

Jordan Lake Swimmers provide an acoustic presentation of current songs from Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Ed Sheeran, U2, Coldplay and Avett Brothers. We can also perform what we call new gospel songs which includes praise music by Wren Collective & Mumford & Sons. Because we play familiar songs we get a wonderful reception. Jordan Lake Swimmers are the type of band you would see at Merlefest -- not strictly bluegrass but use bluegrass instrumentation We are a genre-blurring group of folk-influenced troubadours.

Jordan Lake Swimmers have played many wedding events and ceremonies held at Trophy Brewery, The Meadows, Picnic in Durham, Wakefield Barn, The Cadillac Service Garage, Old Milburnie Fishing Club and Asheboro Country Club.

We utilize a Bose Tower PA so we can fit a small foot print while sounding professional. In the smallest of venues we just mic the vocals, but with the Bose tower we can mic the instruments for an outside event or a large group. For your event, we may be able to include some of your favorite songs!
