I found Julia through a mutual friend and was immediately impressed by her work! Julia was so kind and engaging, we knew she would be a great fit. She was so accommodating during our Covid19 wedding craziness, where we had to postpone our original day to a mini-mony only to have our reception canceled the day before. Julia was so positive and gracious, helping us feel at ease when we were not sure how the day would go.

We just got our photos back and I cannot stop re-living our day! She perfectly captured the beauty and the joy of our ceremony! She did such a wonderful job and went above and beyond with her flexibility and "going with the flow" as things tend to go in 2020. I would highly recommend Julia to anyone who is looking for a talented affordable photographer!

We hired Julia as our wedding photographer and could not be happier. Julia gave us so many option to choose from and the photos turned out really great, capturing the emotions and atmosphere of the day.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our wedding. It was POURING (literally) rain 10-14-16 for most of our pictures. Julia was a trooper along with her assistant! My family and friends were so impressed with her work, which is art. Many of the photos appeared to almost be sunny and others, which I absolutely love, show the rain. She helped move my and my giant dress (which gained quite a bit of water weight as they day went on); helped convey messages between parties at the property due to lack of cell service; captured some of my most treasured memories of family, friends and reactions to the entire day. Julia was even able to capture a picture of all three dogs behaving at once :) There's nothing bad anyone could ever say about Julia, seriously. She was very patient, never once complained about the weather - even stuffed an umbrella in her coat so she could keep shooting, was always professional, never pushy and my favorite, she's positive! Everyone thought I had lost my marbles when I said I wanted to get married out by the pond under the willow... in the rain. The weather man was spot on with his forecasting (NOT) and it was still raining come ceremony time. It was brought up that we could move inside the barn, but I chose the venue for the tree. Julia came in and told me it would look amazing because everyone was standing with umbrellas. She made me feel like it was OK to do what I really wanted. I was pretty low key about everything, except that one piece and it was nice to be supported. She even complimented me multiple times about my ability to go with the flow. Can't control the weather right? I could keep going on and on, but in short, if you want someone to really capture the feeling of your event, rain or shine :), who is professional, friendly and supportive, Julia is the photographer for you!
