Julia Hanna is a wonderful wedding photographer. We had Julie shoot our whole wedding weekend, which included a cocktail mixer the day before, the wedding ceremony and reception in Nov of 2019. She captured each event fully and uniquely. We have so many wonderful photos to add to our memories.

There were many things that Julie did to make sure we felt comfortable with the whole process--from the pricing and what was included in the package, and what to expect for photos and timeline. While Julie was working she was constantly in stealth motion--in reviewing the photos I kept saying "I didn't realize she captured that!" and "how did she get all of these!?" As the bride and groom, we didn't get to be with all guests all of the time, and it was heartwarming to see all of the moments she captured between our loved ones.

There were also many aspects of wedding photos that I didn't even think of, like what are the family photos we know we want to make sure to get, and when should we time photos for just me and my husband. She was so well organized and made sure we didn't miss a beat. The mix of planned and candid photos was just right, and she planned it so that family and the wedding party could still be enjoying events and not take too much time away.

After the wedding, we received a preview of photos that honestly I would have been happy if we only had those there were so many I loved! It certainly got us excited for when we received the full log. We've given framed photos as gifts, shared them at family events, and I continue to review and order them to this day. Her current website makes this process a breeze and the quality is excellent.

Julie and Maurice from Mojo Weddings are a fabulous husband and wife photography team who we had the pleasure of working with for our wedding in Oakland, CA. Throughout the entire planning process, they were so easy to work with. Julie makes sure to gather lots of info on your wedding day schedule and which photos you want to be sure to have taken. Their relaxed, friendly vibe made it a joy to have them around on the day of the wedding. We absolutely loved how the photos turned out - they did an amazing job of capturing many very special and authentic moments throughout the entire wedding day. We had a small backyard non-traditional event and Mojo Weddings captured it beyond our expectations. They were great listeners, great observers, and really knew how to respectfully create and capture the best of feelings on our wedding day.
