I knew from the moment I tasted one of Kristine's cakes with the amazing cream cheese frosting that she was going to be making my wedding cake. Not only did she provide a beautiful and delicious cake, but she also made three small cheesecakes with fresh strawberries, which is my husband's dessert of choice. We loved the regular cake, but her cheesecake was insanely good. This was a pleasant surprise because I asked her for the cheesecake on a whim to surprise my husband, so I didn't get to sample it before the wedding.

Kristine was so easy to work with and very responsive when I had questions in the eight months between our tasting and the wedding. I can't say enough nice things about her or her cake and cheesecake. Since we couldn't wait a week, let alone a year, to eat our top tier (or even a few hours to dig into our leftover cheesecake) we will most likely work with her again to create a cake for our first anniversary.

Our cake was beautifully simple, modern and elegant. Kristine even made a dairy-free layer for my husband, and it was just as delicious as the rest of the cake. She came to our apartment for the tasting, which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. When we walked into our reception, the cake was placed beautifully and ready to go. She also made it WITHOUT fondant, which takes a lot of skill and more time to ice evenly with buttercream. We look forward to our anniversary cake!

I was really excited to use K. Rose Cakes for our wedding cake vendor, as I loved her designs and samples. However, when she arrived 2 hours late (in the middle of my cocktail hour) to set up our cake, I was highly disappointed. I expected a higher level of professionalism.
