Kahua Ranch is located on the western slope of the Kohala Mountains, 3000 feet above sea level. The 8,500 acres of private ranch land provides a variety of landscapes, from grazing cattle, sheep and horses to vistas of ocean and coastal shoreline. Today, in addition to raising livestock, Kahua Ranch welcomes over 10,000 visitors a year embark in a wide variety of Adventure & Historical Activities and is host to special events and weddings.

Weddings and special events at Kahua Ranch are beautifully managed and orchestrated by Swept Away Island Weddings and Events, an event design and coordination company serving the Big Island and Oahu. Accomodating up to 500 guests, event locations include a working barn, a 3,000 sq foot ocean view lawn, historic ranch chapel and an open air deck.
