If you're looking for the best wedding/engagement/proposal photographer, look no further! Kate was absolutely FANTASTIC. My partner and I were visiting the Tahoe/Reno area for a quick getaway and he hired Kate to photograph our surprise proposal. Kate pretended to be our tour guide for a "hike" he had scheduled for us and I was none the wiser. She did a great job playing along, answering questions like a real guide would and took candid pictures of us as we were on the hike. When the time came for the proposal she was able to photograph all of my shock and surprise. I have a strong preference for candid and real moments over staged/posed photographs and Kate was super accommodating. She also got fantastic pictures of our pup in the snow with us! She's so kind, thoughtful and really cares about your comfort when she shoots. I would highly recommend her to everyone!

I cannot overstate just how great Kate is at being not only a great photographer, but also a partner in your journey. From the first meeting with her, I knew that I wanted Kate to photograph my engagement. She is very detail oriented and takes the time to understand exactly what you want out of your photos. Once she has a good idea of what you want, she can then help you visualize how the day will go. And then she executes wonderfully with great pictures and an even better attitude. Throughout the entire process, she helped out where needed. Mostly that was by taking the photographs, but she also helped in anything else that was needed. I cannot recommend her enough. You will be so happy you booked Kate!

Kate is truly one of the kindest and most selfless people we have ever met. She went above and beyond time and time again to make us feel special. When our wedding sparklers didn't arrive on time, Kate spent the day before our wedding scouring Nevada to find some and she drove over an hour out of her way to get them for us. During the planning process, she would send us personalized gifts and cards and truly made us feel so special. Day of our wedding, her and her second photographer were kind, courteous and made sure every picture was perfect. She became more than a vendor but a friend to us and we could not have been happier that she was in charge on our special day. I cannot think of anyone that I would recommend more to play an integral part in your wedding process. If she has your date free, book it, you will not regret it!
