Simply put, I can't imagine my life without photography.

Photography feeds my soul, it makes me smile, it even gives me chills when I'm visualizing an upcoming shoot or know that I'm about to photograph a new and fresh little life. It allows me to freeze moments in time that seem to race by us way too quickly.

I have always had a love and appreciation for photography, but I think my real passion in this journey didn't truly begin until I bought my first DSLR camera (I'm a Canon girl! :) ) three years ago. I started shooting the moment my battery was fully charged and haven't stopped clicking the shutter since!

My husband and I have one spirited son who keeps us on our toes at all times and we wouldn't have it any other way. He's a constant subject for me (willingly most of the time) and the camera is definitely no stranger in his every day life. He may not always want to be in front of the camera for me (he's 4 and would rather be running around outside, playing with action figures or watching Batman movies), but I know as the years go by and the older he becomes, he'll thank me for treasuring every little moment of his life for him to look back on one day. I hope I am able to do the same for you and your family when it comes to capturing your lives through photographs! These are the moments that make me love what I do with all of my heart.

Tiny baby toes, the laugh of a toddler discovering something new, the look on a child's face as they play and dream...these things make me smile.

The excitement of a graduating Senior getting ready to strike out on their own and really start to live the life they've been thinking about for years. Their drive and determination, their quirkiness and FUN spirit....these things make me smile.
