My uncle and father taught me how to use a camera, and I loved shooting what I saw in the lens. I had asked for a truck and a camera for Christmas. My uncle handed me the camera in the box and said, "Here's your blue truck."
?I went to Reed High School and joined the yearbook staff so I could continue to follow my passion: photography. After that, I had a camera in my hand almost every day, every hour. One of my favorite things about photography was that I could help people look good in photos. Lots of people cover their faces and don't want pictures taken of themselves, but when I take their pictures, they like them.
