I had the amazing pleasure of learning about and booking Kenya through the knot for my wedding— let me just say she did NOT disappoint!! I wholeheartedly recommend Kenya for any special occasion she not only exceeded my expectations during my wedding makeup trial but truly shone on the day itself. From the moment I met her, she made me feel comfortable and understood exactly what I wanted. Even my mom, who usually avoids makeup, was thrilled with her look on the big day. Kenya's skillful hands made us all feel beautiful and confident, receiving numerous compliments from our guests about how natural and stunning our makeup looked. Her positive energy and engaging conversations kept us all excited and relaxed while getting ready, making the experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, her professionalism was top-notch, arriving early to set up and ensuring everything ran smoothly, even when when my ladies and I were a bit behind schedule. I do not typically leave reviews, but 5 stars is truly not enough. If you're looking for a MUA for your big day, booking Kenya will be the best and one of the least stressful decisions you make :)!

Kenya as our lead artist and her senior makeup artist Courtney were phenomenal! As the bride, my makeup stayed through the tears, a windy outdoor ceremony and pictures, and sweating on the dance floor. Three of my bridesmaids, my mother, mother in law, and aunt also got their makeup done, and Kenya handled the schedule for the day flawlessly! They were all different shades and skin types and they were all very happy with how their makeup was done! Kenya was reasonably priced, professional, and knew how to tailor everyone's makeup to their own personal taste. I was so blessed to have had her as my makeup artist for my wedding and felt so confident in her skills as an artist! I literally have no complaints and I HIGHLY recommend her for your day. Kenya was the most professional, caring, down to earth, reliable, and fun makeup artist throughout my entire wedding experience. From my bridal trial she was the absolute sweetest. It actually rained on that day and she escorted me to my car with her umbrella because I had both my hair and makeup done. She got wet in the process just to make sure I was ok. I knew she was IT from the trial not only because of her big heart but because she slayed my face.

I also hired her for my rehearsal dinner and she was on time to the hotel and executed exactly what I envisioned.

On the wedding day she was also on time but most importantly for me, she kept the energy high and was so much fun. I almost forgot I was getting ready for my wedding because she really calmed down any stress or anxiety I had. I couldn’t have looked anymore beautiful on the day of my wedding and it’s thanks to Kenya. She also stayed with me through my first look which did require her to relocate from our bridal suite to the venue.

I could honestly go on and on about Kenya. Her work is AMAZING, but above that she has such a genuine soul and cares about her clients. Her pricing is beyond reasonable and I would absolutely hire her again.

PS. She even made my mom feel comfortable and we all know how old school moms can be.
