Everything from a small 8? round cake perfect for two to a large full sheet size cake for Luaus to a tiered cake design for weddings or any memorable affair is possible for our bakery to create for you!The delicious buttery rich flavor that customers consistently rave about is superbly complimented by baking our cakes with flavorful island fruits such as pineapples, mangoes, guavas, coconuts, passion fruit and macadamia nuts that come from the Big Island of Hawaii. Chocolate and Vanilla Beans grown and cultivated from the islands of Hawaii are also used in our bakery recipes. We handmake all of our cakes and make our puddings & caramel fresh daily from scratch.

Best Bakery in Town!
Janice was amazing to work with. She is genuinely a nice person, always happy to see us throughout the year, and very passionate about the cakes she makes. For the church wedding, she made a 3-tier cake, each layer with our top 3 flavors: strawberry guava, mango mousse, and chocolate macadamia. We specifically asked her to keep the cake's design with the traditional frosting piping seen in their Hawaiian cakes and decorate it with palm leaves and plumerias to match our reception's decorations at the San Diego Natural History Museum. The 3-tier cake tasted and looked amazing, with many of our guests approaching us to inquire if we bought our cake, as they wanted to order some for their future events.
My husband and I look forward to ordering more cakes from Janice and Kona Kakes in the future, such as for our wedding anniversary next year ;-)
